I did a make and take at JSI and learned how to do masks. The first one was done there. The second one I designed myself. I think they are way cool. If anyone is interested I can show you how to do them. It's a really cool way to design your own paper.
The first page is the acrylic cover and so it looks the same as the second page, the only difference is I put a camera rub-on on the acrylic. The first greenish page I designed myself with masks and ink. Wilf was very pleased with the book. I have one more page to do but had to wait until I could get a picture of him and Murray, which Murray is supposed to email to me. When I finish I will post the last page.

Over the past few days I have made a chipboard album with an acrylic cover for Wilf for Father's Day. I was over anxious and gave it to him already so I am posting pics of it. The album is 6 inches wide by 12 inches long.

My internet and email was down for over a week, so haven't had a chance to update the blog. We were at a Land Surveyors Convention at Elk Ridge last weekend and had a really good time. We shared a town house with Calvin and Leanne and Jamie and Rheanne from our office, we also hung out with Murray and Judy, another Saskatoon Land Surveyor and his wife, who we are friends with. The convention was in a beatiful spot and the company was great. Had a lot of good laughs. We arrived back home on Saturday afternoon and spent the weekend going to grandkids soccer and hockey. The season is winding down so have to cram in as much as possible.

Well my studio is nearly done. Still waiting for a shelving unit to be finished and it will fit in the empty space shown in the pics. I love it now, it is so light in here. Having two of the walls papered and then painted white and new lighting has made such a difference. Haven't done any layouts or cards or anything yet but am anxious to get going. Unfortunately we will be away for the next couple of days so that will have to wait. Still have a bit of stuff to put back in the studio, but most of it has a home. Need a new top on my desk, the old one cracked when we were moving the desk. I am so excited.

We had a great time at Chrissies on the weekend. Leanne prepared a couple of really cute cards for us to make and then we ate and then shopped. Doesn't get any better than that.
My computer has been off for the last few days as we are now finished the basement and have moved the system downstairs into my studio.

I am excited. The basement bedroom is done, and we have put the furniture back in and I have added all the chochki. Next the scrap room or as I hope to call it "my studio". Can't wait till it is done. Thought I would post a couple of pics of the bedroom. Nothing fancy, but all nice and fresh and clean.

Unusual clouds we spotted on the way to visit my family in High River. The layers we saw are not as visible on camera as they were in real life.

Calvin, Leanne, Wilf and I did a little browsing around town and then went for supper at the Rose and Crown. Outside garden of the restaurant where we ate.

These photos were taken while we were in Canmore, Alberta for a Canada Land Surveyors Convention. The guys had meetings while the gals got to pamper themselves and tour the area. Doesn't get any better than that. Had a wonderful time.

We were away for a few days. Went to a Surveyors Convention in Canmore, Alberta. What a beautiful spot. Had a massage, a pedicure and did some sight seeing. A bit of shopping and a ride up to the top of Sulpher Mountain. Had a super guide, who knew so much history. Then we went to visit my brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew-in-law and great niece in High River and did some shopping in Calgary. What a great weekend. Just had a super time. Will try and post some pics later.
