I think Scrap-a-Looza was a huge success. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, altho it was really quite for more than 30 women in one room. Leanne and Tami did a great job. I would attend another one in a minute. Didn't get much done, but really enjoyed myself. Great job girls. You deserve a pat on the back. Thanks for a great day.
Yeah. Today is Scrap-a-Looza. Took a while getting things ready for today, but am looking forward to getting a few things done. Just taking a lot of papers and am going to try to do a bunch of layouts and then worry about adding the pictures later. Tommorow we clean out the basement bedroom and my scraproom and get them ready for painting, new carpet and a lot of organizing. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I know I will . Am excited about getting a new looking scraproom. It will be brighter and a lot nicer to work in.

Looking forward to the weekend and Scrap-a-looza. Dont' know what I am going to do but will figure it out tomorrow. Got our tickets all booked and finalized. We will be going to Ottawa and then on to Toronto, to be picked up by my brother and sister-in-law and then spend 3 or 4 days with them in Simcoe. I am excited. Going to be a busy year. Quite a few trips planned. Some shorter than the others, but fun anyway.

a couple of layouts I did a while back of two of my great grandaughters.

Last summers flowers, do you think it will ever get warm enough to have flowers this year? I sure hope so!!!!

Had a great time at the card class last nite. I was kind of in outer space and couldn't seem to get my act together, but we had lots of good laughs. The cards were particularily nice this time. They were all very different from each other, even though we used the same stamp. Takes a lot of thought to get four cards planned out like that. Thanks Julie.Italic
Have been working at getting our trip planned to Ottawa tonite. Not as easy as we thought. But looking forward to seeing everyone.

Well the weekend is nearly over. Spent quite a bit of time with Jordyn. What a lovely girl. We had some good laughs. She has a goofy sense of humour. Devyn and I were able to do a little bit on the Cricut Expressions before she went to the lake with her mom and dad. Hope they had a good time. The weather was really nice on Saturday and Sunday was gorgeous. Today however, back to the same old cold stuff. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Just before the storm.

Taken from our front step last July. Lovely clouds. Did a scrapbook page of these clouds.
Just came back from a nice outing with my sister-in-law Betty. I little shopping and then for lunch. The kitchen is nearly done. The bottom part of the walls have to be painted yet and some backsplash tiles installed. Then on to the front foyer, our bedroom next, then the bedroom in the basement and the scraproom and then back upstairs to the spare bedroom and hopefully by that time the windows for the sunroom will be here and can be installed, so by August we should be done.

So today started off with a bang. Got up looked at all the snow and wished it would just dissapear for at least 12 months. Can you believe this? Anyway, got payroll done quickly today and then went for lunch with some friends. So the day warmed up, and things got better. Going to go out for a while this evening and start the long weekend off doing something other than being in the house. Hoping it just gets warmer over the weekend and everyone has a good long weekend. Take care

Just wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas. How about this crazy weather! Do you think it will ever warm up enough to plant a garden. Looking forward to the long weekend. My good freind from Athabasca will be in town for the weekend. Hope she can find some time. She has a very large family and many friends here, so it is difficult to squeeze everyone into 3 days. Also our grandaughter will be staying with us. Her family is going camping and she has to work, so she will be here with us. Hope you have a great day, even if the weather is lousy.

Taken June 2008. Me, Mom, our son, his son and his sons daughter. Not great photos but nice to have the five generations.

This five generation picture was taken in June of 2008. My mom is now 98 years of age.

Our youngest great grandaughter. She was so sick when I took these pictures. But such a happy little girl. Hardly ever cries.

Our youngest baby. This double layout is the last layout that I have done. Can't seem to get at it lately. We are having the house painted and I have lots of running around to do, picking colors, accesories and so on.

These 4 gorgeous little girls are our great grandaughters.
It will take me some time until I figure out what you are supposed to do and how you decorate, add music, add pics, etc. but I think it will be fun.

This is my first blog. I am new at this and hope you can overlook my mistakes.
Today is Mothers Day and so far it has been great. Lots of visits from friends and
family. Love them all.
